Dr. Caravaty joined Aqueduct Animal Hospital in April 2015. He is a 1980 graduate of the New York State College of Veterinary Medicine at Cornell University. He was a partner at Guilderland Animal Hospital in Altamont, NY for 30 years before moving to Clifton Park. He is a strong proponent of preventive medicine and a compassionate pet advocate.
Dr. Caravaty has dedicated his life and career to promoting a healthier lifestyle for people and their pets. His veterinary interests include internal medicine, geriatrics and behavioral medicine.
In his free time, Dr. Caravaty enjoys golfing, sailing, camping, bowling, and travelling. He has three children and lives in Clifton Park with Ellen, along with their six cats: Mitzie, Penny and Charlie are the Persians, Murby, the alley cat, Robie a Himalayan and Toby, the tuxedo cat.
